Looks like simulcast is here.

The Chullora site has been off air for a week or so and today my scanner came back to life. But the control channel I was receiving was 419.1125 that I had listed as Strathfield site 001-032 which I couldn't receive at home usually. Long story short, I found Chullora and Condell park sites are now t...

It doesn't look like they've ever updated that page after all this time.

I just updated firmware but not from the Uniden website. Using USDS Sentinel it will update to to V1.11.00

Re: Which Scanner, UBCD463PT or another UBCD536PT?

I programmed a 325P2 recently and was amazed at how good the sensitity was compared to the 436 and SDS100. Very easy to use, similar to the 396 series and it has an easier to read display. An electronics shop in Wollongong is selling the 'AU' model which I was tempted to buy, but told by those in th...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)

The defining difference between a hidden host system and a LSM simulcast system is the overlapping of frequencies and the proximity of each site to the other sites. With hidden host systems, the "slave" sites are isolated, usually indoors or in tunnels, so no chance of overlap will occur. For exampl...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)

I was running Unitrunker on the new Strathfield site 001-032 (419.1125) with a discriminator signal from a 780xlt. The audio out of the 780xlt didnt sound the same as the usual P25 control channel sound, it was harsh and thrashy. I thought it might have been interference from an adjacent channel, bu...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)

* Horsley Park (004-012 NAC 2D1) has changed control channel this week - now 419.025 I've noticed with this change at Horsley Park, the active voice channels (according to Unitrunker) all show up on ACMA as having an azimuth of 270 Degrees. ACMA also shows the antennas used now are RFI directional ...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)

DrClaw, Unitrunker shows site 1.126 with a control channel of 422.28750MHz. That is listed on ACMA at the St George Hospital site in Kogarah. The hospital site is not that far away from Arncliffe so you may have been receiving it instead. I don't think Arncliffe is live yet.

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)

Found another new site today 001-095 Concord Hospital - came up a failed/isolated peer (CC 420.5000) off 001-047 RAS Homebush Bay. Looking up the acma for the frequency shown made it easy to identify Concord Hospital as the new site. I thought maybe the Concord Hospital site would be a low power in...

Re: NSWPF radio now fully encrypted.

I'm curious why ACMA is showing all VKG licences expire on 01/Jul/2022. No matter when they came into effect, they all expire on that date.
