Re: 996 & Remote Head Data Cable

I made my own powered speaker years ago using a similar amp kit to this http://www.jaycar.com.au/products_uploaded/productLarge_5766.jpg Fits easily into most existing comms speakers. http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=KG9032&CATID=25&form=CAT&SUBCATID=557 I included a bypass/power switch. ...

I think they use codes anyway. Signal 1 = I've spilled the soup. Foxtrot 1 = fly in the soup, and you don't want to hear a Sierra 1 = spit in the soup.

Re: Nice Expression

I heard a beauty on the Ambos the other day.

Young female ambo says, "So shall we take the car to the workshop?"
Operator replies, "well, no. If you've put unleaded in a diesel vehicle, it won't be going anywhere"

Re: SWM - What are these units?

Special Weapons Management? Not sure. Just another guess. Why do they have dog squad call signs but. Check that each channel is set as a 'Trunk' channel and check that you have set each Bank as a trunk b...
