Re: SDS200 vs SDS200E

Cheers all for your wealth of knowledge. I ordered a new SDS200E from Nevada radio out of the UK lastnight for AU$1,347 after PayPal conversion inc shipping via FedEx (They charge £50 for FedEx shipping to Australia). They’ve already shipped it and I should have it within a week. https://www.nevadar...

Re: SDS200 vs SDS200E

Cheers Wonky, That's reassuring to know. Now to track one down from a trusted source! Please let me know if you have any suggestions on where to get one. Radio Warehouse in the UK and WaveInn all seem to get a bad rap. Might stick with eBay and pay the extra as at least then there's some form of buy...

SDS200 vs SDS200E

Hi All, I don't think Uniden ever released an Australian version of the SDS200 and stock in general seems to suck worldwide. Just wandering what the differences are between the 200 and the 200E (Europe). Will the 200E work better due to 800Mhz being open like an AU model? Are their any other conside...

Re: NSWFB - firefighting helmets

Comms in helmets are probably the least of our worries when you consider the audio quality and range of the latest round o...

Llandilo fire

The tones are purely a button on the console software that the Radio Operator has the option to use.

Also the MDTs only utilise Telstra 4G, FRNSW Wifi or Ethernet if the MDT is placed into a toughpad docking cradle. They have no data connection to the GRN.

Re: Sydney South West to go Silent

There is a couple more videos on CAD CAD-INCIDENTS https://vimeo.com/76023110 CAD-MAPS https://vimeo.com/76123980 and probably a couple more dozen videos on mdt equipment installation those 2 vedio's I don't think are based on the MDT's going into Station Appliances, but look more like the Fire Gro...
