Agreed. One reason for the changing frequencies is that it very hard to have a "one size fits all" frequency allocation on the COW. Where ever it is placed it needs to fit in with existing GRN frequencies in the area, and not cause interference to other services at / near the site and in the area.

UHF would have to be the better all round choice for many reasons, including better interoperability with (essentially) all other states GRN networks. And with the current EDACS network down there in the 800MHz band there would likely be little real world change if they were to go UHF. It’s nothing...

Interesting having TG 10052 denied at Gregory Hills. (If still is?) It happens to be the local Macarthur RFS TG and they could do be with the coverage! s_t Still being denied today.
