Well radio isn't something I know all that well - but I'm learning! However wikis and documentation is something I do know well.
I setup a wiki the other day - http://radioz.info
Being an IT type it cost me a whole $10 to run this site for a year.
My idea was to have a wiki for Australian radio information... that way frequencies themselves can be wiki articles. Also its a nice way to provide information complete with references and crosslinked to other relevant information.
Would appreciate any help writing these docs. Would also appreciate any comments or suggestions.
RadiOZ Wiki
Re: RadiOZ Wiki
Being a wiki, don't the members who register contribute and write the doc's?
Re: RadiOZ Wiki
Well yes - it was a call for help writing the docs.
Re: RadiOZ Wiki
Radioreference is already doing this on a Worldwide basis
http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Main_Page
Just pointing it out for your information - may even help shape your ideas as to how to do it
