Re: Hillsbus
The data component of the system may also explain how all the transport apps now get the location info for most of the Hillsbus fleet.
Re: Hillsbus
So 464.250 is no longer analogue which explains why I hear nothing on this frequency.
Has the following bus companies gone digital too? I'm hearing Moto turbo signals on two of the channels.
488.825 - Westbus - digital signals
492.575 - Hawksbury Valley - digital signals
162.975 - Glenorie - no activity
486.875 - Westbus - no activity
487.675 - Westbus - no activity
488.550 - Busways - no activity
488.175 - Hopkinsons Coaches - no activity
490.800 - Holroyd buses - no activity
494.525 - North & Western - no activity
Thanks, John.

Re: Hillsbus
All buses in the CDC Group are on the Orion Network (MotoTRBO), and Busways in the Northwest are as well. Busways Camden, Campbelltown and Blacktown as far as i know are still using their old analog channel?freqwaves wrote:So 464.250 is no longer analogue which explains why I hear nothing on this frequency.

Hawkesbury Valley Buses were using a frequency belonging to Mastercom, so they may have upgraded to DMR or moved to Orion?
Hopkinsons, Holroyd and North and Western no idea, can't help you there.
Re: Hillsbus
Yes,I'm still hearing Busways on their 490.100 frequency.
Thanks for the update.
John.

Re: Hillsbus
Reading up on CDC Transport it does take in the following companies.
Westbus
Hawksbury Valley
Glenorie Bus lines - 162.975
494.525 - STA (Penant Hills repeater) not North & Western as I previously mentioned.

Re: Hillsbus
Ok thanks, I'll have a closer look at CDC an get back to you about Hawkesbury Valley.
Re: Hillsbus
It seems since the following companies have gone DMR their old VHF channels have gone very quiet. They still show registered to their respective companies though on ACMA.
163.4625 - Interline Buses Macquarie Fields
163.6875 - Busabout - Smeaton Grange/Liverpool
The new blue buses from NSW Govt have the small UHF aerials on the roof but the older Busabout bus still had the old VHF aerial with the new UHF aerial next to it. Will have to checkout a Interline bus.
So Busabout has gone from VHF to UHF?
John.
