Volunteer Communications - Promotional Video Clip
Hi Folks,
Now and again I allude to my membership of a volunteer communications group.
Those of you who a bit about me know of course that I am referring to WICEN NSW Inc, a member squad of the Volunteer Rescue Association.
http://www.nsw.wicen.org.au/
WICEN uses both amateur radio and commercial radio equipment, and a has a number of commercial frequencies allocated as well as a portable Limited Coast Station Licence.
This a recent effort of mine, I am working to make a 10 - 15 minute video clip outlining the work of WICEN NSW in various areas around the state. This is a 2 minute segment done as a trial run. Most the pics are from actual operations where we support other organisations. There is also an odd pic from training.
Let me know what you think.

Nice work S_T! Some innovative ideas in there that I hadn't thought of (like bolting the components of a portable repeater inside a plastic crate) and of course, you've gotta love a Clark mast (pity they're so expensive)!
Bring on the long version!

Nice job Mal.
I agree, web site link somewhere in there, but thats easy enough to do with YouTube. My only other criticism would maybe to to adjust the aspect ratio to make it fit the full YouTube window, but that would depend on your editing software.
If you want to ramp it up a bit, let me know. I'm a bit of a wiz these days with Sony Vegas Pro editing software ( takes up my scanning time these days ).
