The Manly-Warringah Radio Society now has a FM / P25 UHF setup on 438.175 RX / 433.175 TX
123hz tone analogue only - 293 NAC digital only. The system is now at 70 watts but the Antenna needs alot of work and it will start this weekend. It is great to see a new P25 setup. 73z Richard VK2UAL

Is this repeater on the air? I tried it on FM & P25 and got nothing back.

Cheers,

Richard

Yep - I've been using it on and off for a few weeks now. The antenna rig isn't the greatest but I manage to hit it from Hurstville quite well on a folded dipole.

I will check it again tonight to make sure.

It doesn't seem to be this afternoon... FM is OK but nothing on P25.

Can someone put out a call on the P25 repeater? I promise to answer... but it seems to be very quiet on this repeater!

Cheers,

Richard

Don't worry- I just found intelligent life on the P25! The base worked but it dropped out a fair bit on the incoming transmissions & was "going digital" fairly regularly. I wonder if they have a problem (could be the antenna but could be desense as well).

Cheers,

Richard

Yes the antenna and feeder is known to have problems. They are working on fixing it now.
