RFS Air to Ground channel
RFS Air to Ground channel
Does anyone know the frequency for this?
Re: RFS Air to Ground channel
119.1MHz is common. Others exist though.
Re: RFS Air to Ground channel
Hmm I already monitor that one and don't get any hits.

Try 130.550MHz, I have heard stuff on this before. They also seem to use GD87STATE OPS 10074 to report aircraft movements for SAR watch etc.
Re: RFS Air to Ground channel
Hmm I have monitored 130.55 in the past but haven't been doing that lately. Maybe that is the freq.
I ask because "Fire Comm" on PMR 179 instructed Helitak 225 to contact the command post at Katoomba High School via the air to ground channel.

Re: RFS Air to Ground channel
I think last summer someone posted a list of about 10x air frequencies that could possibly be used.(Post might have been archieved now)Otherwise set your scanner on a scan between 120 to 135mhz AM.
Re: RFS Air to Ground channel
Yep they did and I did take note in my scanner programming apparently

Re: RFS Air to Ground channel
correct, depending on the aircraft and the workload of the air desk @ state ops they can also use local District channels to provide SAR call insHoodwinked wrote:Try 130.550MHz, I have heard stuff on this before. I've listed them down at home as posting this from work so will post a list next time on at home unless someone beats me to it!
