SES using MDC?

Hi all, Do the SES employ MDC encoding on their radio's in PMR areas? One of the Southern Highlands TG's has a smartbridge attached to it (TG30233) and they appear to be doing an excercise in one of PMR areas. however its getting quite annoying with the MDC going off nearly constantly. the ID there using isnt the normal bridge too. the bridge curently employed has a 2041xxx id. the normal bridge has an id in the 2060xxx range.
