Cooma-Monaro RFS Pagers

Post by scanSydney » Tue Jan 04, 2011 3:31 pm

Hi all,

I'm currently building up a RFS capcode catalog, and was wondering whether someone on the South Coast/Southern NSW knows any of the capcodes for the Cooma-Monaro Zone, and possibly Far South Coast?

Cheers.

Yes and no...

I get all the Cooma/Monaro, Snowy River & Bombala district pagers so yes, I have heaps of capcodes but the trouble is I can't pick up their PMR network (and I'm yet to find someone who is streaming them online) so I have no way to tell which capcode belongs to who?

Not sure if you're a member of Longreach's East Coast Radio forum but there is a list of capcodes over there including Far South Coast, Shoalhaven, Lake George, Goulburn and a few others?

Ah, no problems, thanks anyway!

Do you know what the range is for the three zones, as in the first four digits for example? Then I can drop (for example, Hornsby - 0720???) it into it, and then they'll all (under that range) come labeled at least for the district/zone.

Thanks again guys. :)

Each RFS district has it's own prefix, which is the first three numbers of the capcode. Those I know of are:

Ballina prefix is 011xxxx
Bega Valley is 014xxxx
Bombala is 024xxxx
Cooma/Monaro is 038xxxx
Upper Lachlan is 045xxxx
Eurobodalla is 051xxxx
Gosford is 057xxxx
Hornsby/Ku-Ring-Gai is 072xxxx
Kyogle is 080xxxx
Lake Macquarie is 082xxxx
Lismore is 084xxxx
Goulburn/Mulwaree is 091xxxx
Richmond Valley is 110xxxx
Wyong is 111xxxx
Shellharbour is 115xxxx
Shoalhaven is 116xxxx
Snowy River is 118xxxx
Palerang is 120xxxx
Tumut is 126xxxx
Tweed is 127xxxx
Warringah/Pittwater is 137xxxx
Queanbeyan City is 146xxxx
Yass Valley is 147xxxx
Byron is 149xxxx

If anyone can fill in any of the blanks, let me know?

Andrew
