Thanks Jeff - will out them back up. What about 'Fire 5'?

I removed them as these frequencies have expired and all are no longer showing on the ACMA database. Either the database isn't up to date (entirely possible) or Baulkham Hills RFS are using frequencies that are no longer licensed.
HI Scotty
apologies for delayed reply, just back from leave. I dont recall hearing activity on Fire-5 for a while. It is in my normal scan group. I'll mark it as a priority and keep an ear out. No sure where that TX was located, it could be further away from me than Fire-1 and Fire-3

Well, I just heard Fire-1 164.0875 MHz active then. It seems they're still happily using it with no licenses.

I can confirm Hornsby/Ku-ring-gai has gone GRN only EXCEPT for Mt White (424.1500 - patched into the GRN) to cover a blackspot or two in Brooklyn/Hawkesbury River.

I have been told there is no intention to expand the P25 PMR coverage given the availability of GRN across the district (especially now with Hornsby Heights GRN in place).

Update re Hills area RFS

I've had Fire-5 on priority scan for a few weeks now and no activity monitored from my location. Fire-1 and Fire-3 still very active. Also Fire-5 is not mentioned during routine radio checks. So I suspect its no longer in use.

Cheers

Thanks. List updated. Of note the 6 removed frequencies are still current on the database.

Thanks. List updated. Of note it is still the case that none of the VHF 'Fire' frequencies used by Baulkham Hills are listed on the database.

Since moving house & all my scanners being in storage for the last 12 months I have finally setup my base again & reviewing my scanners programs.
Have all the RFS stations that had PMR networks in the 462mhz to 467mhz band been decomissioned & now on the GRN?

In the District that I’m in all stations apart for a couple used grn at there stations and the only reason the the couple of stations don’t use grn is there is no grn coverage ie around the Hawkesbury River. This would affect some brigades in Hornsby , Hawkesbury and Central Coast RFD.

Pretty much Freqwaves. One of the last areas to go was the Southern Highlands Team.

Thanks Matt, been checking the ACMA database in my lunch breaks & all have disappeared from their allocated frequencies.
But some 161mhz VHF Band fireground frequencies still allocated.

Regards, John.

August 2018 Update:

The following updates have been provided by members

CENTRAL COAST
- Merger of Gosford and The Lakes.

MACARTHUR
- GRN only. All PMR gone.

THE HILLS
- GRN now in use. VHF removed.

Seeking confirmation on the following analogue areas. All are still listed on the ACMA database, but I don't know if they are still active (or even in the latest profile):
- Central Coast (Gosford/The Lakes)
- Chifley/Lithgow
- Hunter Valley
- Lower Hunter
