GRN Reception Sydney Airport

Post by cartman » Fri Aug 22, 2008 9:19 am

This is probably well known already to the GRN folk but I was listening this morning to the City East Ambulance Channel on Talkgroup 44144
They were calling a 1A Type 2 (Possible Heart attack - Hot - Highest Clinical Skill) at the International Terminal at Sydney Airport
The reception for the two attending cars - 972 Intensive Car and Mascot Car 435 was very scratchy.
In fact I think the car crew on 435 ended up calling the Channel Dispatcher by mobile.
As it turned out the person was ok
The reception maybe OK outside the terminal but it doesn't appear to be up to scratch inside the Terminal.
I wonder if this might be a candidate for a hidden host connection.
The GRN has a site already at the International Terminal at the railway station for the base.
No doubt already on somebody's wish list to fix up with an adequate budget $
