use to be "Zone 1 Position 20 (HELI,Cnv, ,467.675,PL,107.2,293) in the 2013 profile list here on Scan Sydney

Don't know how often it's actually used? as most the time you'll just hear the cars or inspector talking to the Heli over the operating channel.

I can't remember hearing them say they are on xyz channel. I hear them talk on the main GRN channel around here, other non GRN areas might be different.

SOT's have a separate radio to the GRN for simplex (I've seen Benelec Portables at one particular station) with 4 channels programmed into them. Mainly for Rescue and Helo ops.

I heard it come active a few months ago in Sydney. You just have to be lucky to be listening at the right time. I have it in my emergency scan list.

They did a winch job about a week ago up in the Blue Mountains. The Helo was interacting with the Inspector while on approach. Once the Helo started its site winch inspection they switched to the Air to Ground Channel while doing so and while inserting the SCAT Officer.

Rescue 201 (Toll Ambulance Rescue) using 467.675 air to ground after winching in doctor to a rescue currently happening in the Blue Mountains.
