AS - New Govt. band freqs.
Rather than high jack a couple of other threads where this has been mentioned, Crafty found this link for the AS new Govt. listings http://web.acma.gov.au/pls/radcom/clien ... O=20011941
There have been a few recent additions, mainly for the North Coast area but a few for the Sth and SW areas (some over the border in Mexico too) and one in Brisbane on 468.8625 which I couldn't hear anything on last Thursday when in BNE.
I am wondering if anyone knows if these are going to be P25

Re: AS - New Govt. band freqs.
I'd say no,
Given that most of these areas still run T2000's id say its just a repostion.
Could be wrong have been before.
Cheers

Re: AS - New Govt. band freqs.
Two new Ambulance NSW frequencies registered to the "Telco Authority (ASNSW) http://web.acma.gov.au/pls/radcom/clien ... O=20011941" on the Mid North Coast/Coffs Harbour area have come online this week.
468.2250 - ctcss 156.7 - Urunga
468.1500 - ctcss 156.7 - Mt Moobil - (WSW of Coffs Harbour, covering Bellingen and Orara Way)
I read on another forum that new frequencies on the Far North Coast have also come online.
Regards Allison

Grant,
The DMR user on the bridge freq 467.625 is not RMS,, monitor that freq in analogue only and you will get a ctcss active for RMS
