The 24-bit ICAO ID's are calculated sequentially from VH-AAA, so:-

VH-ZXC - ADS-B: 7C81CE
VH-ZXD - ADS-B: 7C81CF

The AW139's will be based at Newcastle, Tamworth and Lismore (plus one spare).

Not sure how much truth to the gossip I hear, but apparently the new AW's are too loud to be operating out of Broadmeadow hence the move to Belmont is now not optional.

I now live less the a kilometer away from the Pelican/Belmont Airfield.

Can confirm the airfield has got a little more busy with light aircraft in the past couple of months and construction work of a new building is in advance stages . . . but the new building at this stage does not look like it includes new hanger facilities at this stage.

Sighted yesterday the 13th November . . . a New AW139 Taking off from the Newcastle WestPac base around 11am.

Well the building taking place at the Pelican/Belmont Airfield . . . well a rather large Hanger Type construction has taken place . . . so looking more likely a suitable building/s to accommodate Newcastle WestPac base
