Screenshot from a recent Victorian SES training video.

Shows talkgroup as being S OPS 01
and Radio ID block being 900xxx

It also showed them using Status Messaging using the Motorola APX radio.

Well that was a LOT more work than I anticipated but I think the VIC MMR & RMR list here is now (finally) up-to-date and agrees with the map and the ACMA!

I've moved a heap of stuff around and borrowed some elements from the NSW and QLD lists so hopefully it will now be easier to navigate.

If anyone has any thoughts, comments, suggestions and/or spots any errors or omissions please let me know here.

Interesting to hear (in this post) that there are users on the RMR using P25 Phase II now.

That means they must have added new bandplans, or at least are now using previously unused bandplans, so my info here would seem to be out of date?

Does anyone have a current list of bandplans including the extra Phase II slots? Or a screenshot from UT showing the Phase II LCNs in action?

With thanks to a forum member who emailed me a heap of screenshots from UniTrunker, I've just updated the bandplans on page 1 of this thread to include all the Phase II info, so I now hope we have a complete and accurate list of bandplans in use (all 16 of them)!

Interesting to note that most of the Victorian radio IDs have been transitioned to seven-digit IDs starting with the Victorian 'state code' of 3, from the old six-digit IDs they were using. Although there are still some six-digit IDs shown so they're not completely there yet.

Also interesting, from a post on another forum, the last VICPOL radios migrated to the RMR at 2am on Tuesday night and their remaining PMR network has now been decommissioned, so VICPOL is now 100% on the MMR/RMR system, 100% encrypted, and apparently 100% Phase II. Assuming that they are also using multi-band radios that would effectively give every officer statewide coverage without changing talkgroups.

A new VICMMR site showed up on the ACMA this week, authorised 10th December:

Unknown MMR Site # - CRAIGIEBURN (VEMTC 284-290 Hume Highway) - ACMA Site: 10013309
468.4875
468.9500
469.3500
469.7500

It's a little strange in that it has no low-band frequencies licenced at all, even for a CC? All freqs show as a low power on a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) so definitely an in-building site.

I've just added it to the Unidentified Sites List on the forum, and added to the map.

Another new MMR site appeared on the ACMA yesterday (31/Jan/2019) located at Craigieburn:

Unknown MMR Site # - CRAIGIEBURN (Central SC 340 Craigieburn Rd) - ACMA Site: 10013762

Added to the map and the Unidentified Sites list on page 1 of this thread.

Apparently it's been over a year passed since there was a new RMR site but 2 new VICRMR sites appeared on the ACMA database this week, and 2 moved locations slightly:

Unknown RMR Site # - GEELONG (Telstra Exchange 19 Little Ryrie St) - ACMA Site: 36635
(same location as MMR Site 001-008)
163.9625
165.1625
166.2000
166.6500

Unknown RMR Site # - MT ELIZA (Watertower Mountain View Rd) - ACMA Site: 44002
(Note that there is already an RMR site at the Telstra Exchange Mt Eliza but this appears to be a separate site)
167.1125
167.5625
167.7125
168.0125

Unknown RMR Site # - NORTH WARRANDYTE (14 Blooms Road) - ACMA Site 50622
was deleted and moved to:
Unknown RMR Site # - NORTH WARRANDYTE (GF-NWDA - North Warrandyte Blooms Road) - ACMA Site: 140763
(with 1 frequency change)
165.3625
165.8125
165.9625
166.2625
166.5625

Unknown RMR Site # - PAKENHAM UPPER (NBN Co 60 Hoyles Road) - ACMA Site: 10000565
was deleted and moved to:
Unknown RMR Site # - PAKENHAM UPPER (Telstra/Optus Site 60 Hoyles Road) - ACMA Site: 305994
(same location as MMR Site 001-092, frequency list unchanged)
165.5250
165.8250
165.9750
166.2750
166.5750

Added to the VICMMR/RMR map and the Unidentified Sites list on the forum.

The Mt Eliza site was moved due to some extremely serious coverage issues that were occurring.

Ah thanks for that, they must not have deleted the telstra exchange site from the ACMA yet then, I'll keep an eye out for that to happen.

I've been meaning to check the Vicradio Zone website again and compare lists too but I've been so busy lately, we have a lot of unidentified sites that I'm hoping you may have info on?

Just having a look now and yes, there are a truckload of updates I need to do to our list here... I'll try and get them done this evening.

P.S. I just noticed a few possible errors in the Vicradio Zone RMR list that maybe I could get you to double-check...

RFSS 3 site 114 at Newcomb lists the CC as 166.5625 but that freq isn't licenced on it's ACMA site 10007458?

RFSS 4 site 105 at Boronia I think has a typo for the control channel frequency, it has 167.9725 listed but that's not licenced, in my list I took a guess at 167.9625 being the CC as it fits the pattern of the other sites, maybe the 7 was a typo?

RFSS 4 site 120 at Whittlesea has the wrong ACMA Site number listed against it, 301075 has the MMR site licenced to it, but the RMR site is licenced at site 36268

That just leaves the two sites at MURTOA and GNARWARRE to figure out, I had them monitored as sites 004-099 and 004-100 respectively (which agrees with their NACs of 169 and 160) but Vicradio Zone has them listed as 003-117 and 003-104 (which means their NACs don't line up)?

I haven't looked at the MMR list yet, I'll try to get the RMR sites done first.

Andrew

EDIT (at 22:00): I think the RMR sites are now up to date on both the VICRMR Map and the VICRMR list here on the forum.

I'm not even going to look at the MMR sites tonight, they will have to wait.
