Sounds like they are short of staff due Xmas Holidays and people ringing up sick
Last Xmas Oscar and Papa were combined for several days between Xmas and New Year

PS Hmmm there doesnt appear to be any acma entry for 468.5750 in the sydney region, now or in the past say 12mths ago.

Its still analog on 468.8500Mhz here in Sydney but it has the "encrypted 458-459Mhz input / retransmitted output ex dispatcher headset audio" sound that we heard between December 2006 and May 2008
Definitely different sounding audio to say a week or two back, so it sounds like the techs have been busy
Hmmm .... we know what happens next
Maybe Whiskey first then followed eventually by Victor
Months of tweaking then whoosh - squiggle noises

That might be it now for the analog link on 850k for whisky. I havent heared any audio for a couple of days. A few short carirers today with the 107hz tone but thats it. Havin to listen off i think its the horsley park GRN Tg 10019, or thanks to radioreference of course.

Hi all, yeah i went to sydney yesterday briefly and didnt hear anything out of ch 4 or 41, i might have been too far west for ch 4 (467.925) but 41 (468.850) was quiet too.

Whiskey was coming through last night (12/4/13) on the GRN via Site 145 (Horsley Park) - last logged about 2120hrs.
I have noticed lately that some of the ambulance rescue chopper crews affiliate on a regular basis

At least its being used by the people its intended for, unlike the fleet of RFS radios that affiliate to it every day.

Hi all,
Yep they all know about it. dunno what the fasination about it is? I dont see why ESO10 needs to be in every GRN equipped radio across the state, not like 99.9% of people are able to use it.
cheers
