Albury police

Could someone help me with some freqs for Albury cops,as i am traveling to Melbourne soon and would really lioke to program radio thanks Greg

Hi Mate, yeah on the Hume they operate on Vote group 21 or Channel 85 dependent on the radio.
the channels are
Z1 ch 08 468.025
Z1 ch 21 468.350 (One Tree Hill, Albury)
Z1 ch 43 468.900 (Mt Burngoogee, between Tarcutta and Holbrook)
Z1 ch 56 469.225 (Mt Raven, Holbrook)

got a few for Vicpol too if you like?

Do they use VHF down that way ?

Hi Matt, no there used to be a VHF (78mhz) transmitter off VKG wagga a couple of years ago not sure if its still active, but as far as Hume HWY coverage goes Bookham is about as far south as the VHF coverage goes.
Vicpol however use VHF Hi Band (163/164 mhz).

There is no VHF in South Region. Goulburn (for the Colllege) is an exception.

As in the LAC?
Wish the local cars would stop using the VHF.

if your in Albury Greg, they are on the same channel (Channel U).
Griffith however operates on Vote 25 which consists of the following
Z1 CH 15 468.200MHZ
Z1 CH 25 468.450MHZ
Z1 CH 44 468.925MHZ
Z1 CH 60 469.300MHZ

thanks matt again,the last time i drove down to melb 3 weeks ago i was listening to Griffith police and there was a domestic happening some one had a rifle and they sent up a perimeter ,exciting stuff however lost signal as i was driving
