i thought 469.425 was a back channel?
seems to be in other areas?

Interesting, thanks, maybe it is not going to be a north expansion of their P25 network afterall! Not the first time emission designators on ACMA are not quite right.

Just noticed some of the some of the new digital channels are now active, not sure how long they have been active as I usually listen to police on VHF.

So on the new allocations are they still in analogue or are they using P25?
And also is Vertel still running their mixed mode NXDN setup at Coffs

Be interesting to see if it stays running after the car rally. Allison have they turned off the uhf analogue channels?

468.4000 - ? - Analogue - (new site)
468.4500 - Boambee - ? - (existing site, off air)
468.4625 - Point Lookout - Digital - (new site)
468.7625 - Nambucca Heads - Digital - (new site)
469.3250 - Mt Coramba - Digital - (existing site, was analogue)

This sounds very much like they have redeployed the P25 gear they purchased & used during the last car rally up in the Tweed 2 years ago. I suspect it will be gone by mid September once the rally is over.

Thanks Allison, looking at the groups Grant worked out on p1, it looks like they have 3 out of the 4 channels for Nambucca vote (458.5625 input) operating.
