"Driver Training 203" active on the mid north coast today (1/1/2012) at 12.45pm, assisting the local HWP cars with an MVA at Wauchope on the Oxley Highway. Got the impression the car was passing through on the Pacific Highway from south to north when the incident happened on the nearby road.

Yeah PDT203 has been quite active of late. Last I saw it was also outfitted with Mobile ANPR hence why it would be handy.

(Cycles) Traffic 258, 264, 268
Will add as I hear them

Might it have something to do with the creation of the Highway Patrol Command?

Re: Highway Patrol Car callsign
Don't think so .... from my previous monitoring over the last decade TRAFFIC is based out of Sydney and sends out additional traffic enforcement support to the regions during the peak periods like christmas. They may have been up here all the time but just that i didnt hear them.

Re: Highway Patrol Car callsign
SF Raptor also have a few Highway Patrol cars, some of the cars are just hand downs, used for operations, they pop up from time to time with Raptor 2xx.
