They're obviously not planning to move to the GRN any time soon then?cartman wrote:There are something interesting enteries appearing on the ACMA database today (16/5/18)

469.7625 Springwood - Vote 44 Input (459.425) - JULIET
Last friday another couple of frequencies appeared for a back channel, including 467.8375Mhz at Warragamba
I am wondering whether this is the start of a large-scale reorganisation of the police frequencies in the Government band between 467.5 and 470Mhz, given that the current ACMA MS22 exception for less than 10Mhz Tx/Rx split runs out on 31/12/2018. Not a simple task as the Ambulance and RMS have now also moved onto the band mainly in the country but also in the metro eg 468.5125 at Concord Hospital and 468.8375Mhz for the RMS SW Pylon Harbour Bridge
Any thoughts or opinions.

Yep, don't read into it too much.
There is still a possibility that the 468MHz spectrum can be integrated into the GRN (similar to Vic MMR does)
Cheers,
Matt

The new P25 SAGRN bandplan has the government 467MHz band included.citabria wrote:Yep, don't read into it too much.
