Are you sure that is Nowra?
Bravo on the Central Coast also uses these frequencies.
Bravo is encrypted NAC 430
The NAC for Sierra should be 61F
Also your home suburb/town location would be helpful to know

Depends what area the cars are from

I have been monitoring 468.7125 (Tx Mt Gibaltar) and 469.3125 (Tx Robertson) from Liverpool on several occasions

1. Bowral/Mittagong area cars are encrypted - RID "5"
(Bowral, Bundanoon, Tarago)

2. Goulburn/Victor area cars are in the clear - RID "0"or "1"

3. Wagga/Whiskey cars are in the clear - individual RIDS

The encrypted audio is transmitted in the clear on the TG 10019 link on the GRN but remains encrypted locally off 468.7125

It sounds like Victoria border cars are fitted with NSW radios.
Just heard Yarrawonga call up with a NSW radio id

They have been for years Grant, virtually all along the border both sides have both radios fitted. Used to hear Bendoc 200 call up quite a lot on CH S

Interesting you saw the Yarrawonga car's ID they must have had U and W patched at the time.

The callsign was yarrawonga 12 .... I logged a 2142xx at the same time on the Psr800 digital scanner
Makes sense issuing radios for border patrols, especially as Victoria would be analog there
On the queensland/nsw border both sides are still analog, though tweed heads will be going digital in the near future.
Makes you wonder about how they will deal with the queensland QWN in the longer term ... Cross patch or issue a p25 phase 2 radio to fit in border patrols?

Hi all, The callsign dont seem to fit with VKC stuff normally i think the Sargent would be Yarrawonga 250 or something, unless he's made to use a NSW callsign while on VKG?
