Curious about what sounds like "driblic".

Also the system for tracking mobile phones....sounds like "doy"...or something like that.
Heard it mentioned, recently.

Not sure about "driblic" but "doy" is actually DOI Duty Officer In charge (I think). He is the supperviser at VKG that runs things. I think the operators have to call him to do phone tracking, also when pursuits and other important things are happening so he/she can monitor them.brianWE wrote:Curious about what sounds like "driblic".

Someone on aus.scanner suggested "driblic" might be "DrivLic"...."driver's licence".
Possibly a section of the RTA database.
Makes sense. Reference could well have been made when the operator couldn't find a name on CNI and checked for a licence even though the request wasn't a transport one.
That will do me until I hear differently.
