Makes me wonder if there's other plans for the transit command with the current rail sites on the grn.. Wouldn't have to do much, use existing radios used by transits, add encryption and it's all connected to rail security and vkg comms rooms.

No, no no, the police will dispatch on normal police channels. About the only thing Sec 4 will be used for is the 150 officers retained to do revenue protection, (yes back to the ticket snappers).

Also the railway will have little or nothing to do with the deployment of the Commuter Crime Unit. The railway security section will feed them intel, they will analyse it, then and only then will they act. The intel will come from contract security guards, station staff, train crew etc.
