That is a quote from a post i made in August 2013 about what appeared to be the new digital sites for the south coast
It may be helpful to mark off what digital sites are active.
Are there any missing?
What sites are still analog?
I noticed that for the Eden vote they are using the same frequencies for the digital changeover

I can confirm that Vote 25 (Batemans Bay) and Vote 29 (Narooma) are both digital, in fact I believe the entire South Coast from Sydney down to Narooma is now digital.

And Mark said Vote 27 (Bega) is still analog.

The one further south is the one we're not sure about?

The Channel 64 that Longreach mentioned would be this one:

469.4250 Licence 1221592 Letts Mt (37.1 deg South, 149.5 deg East ....west of Eden, SE of Bombala)

The only other NSWPF frequency that I could find in that corner is Mt Delegate (just over the border and further west) on 468.875
These two are probably part of the Snowy Mts vote ... input to each suggest Vote 61

Hi all,

The 468.875 frequency is Ch 42 part of Vote 61 which covers Bombala, Brown Mtn, Nimmatabel Delegate and so on.

That Letts Mtn site would be for covering the Imlay rd.

Cheers

I can confirm that Eden and Nullica are not digital, I am sure the rest of vote wouldn't be either. So therefore at the moment the Bega Valley which is votes 27 and 38 are analogue.

Hi all,

Monitoring Channel U from my base in Albury over the past few weeks, it don't look like its got far to go either before its switchover. All votes bar Willcannia appear to be Z3 now and all RID's are coming up when cars TX from the different votes indicating nearly ready. Only time i didn't see a RID was when Wilcannia TX'ed and a broadcast from ESO10.

cheers.

Interesting, they've been patching Uniform in with Sierra quite a bit lately but all the traffic is coming across as analog (no radio IDs at all, not even the console).

If you say most of Uniform is digital then there must be something hinky with the patch because when they patch Romeo I get all the individual IDs from both channels.

As for the Bega Valley LGA, everything south of Peak Alone (Bermagui/Cobargo area) is still analog but the cars at least must be ready to go as they all seem to be able to communicate on Z3 when they travel north?

Andrew,

Yeah they used to have the patching stuffed up when it was between Whiskey and Sierra. You could make out that say the Sierra console had patched Whiskey as no Whiskey RID's would show up.
I haven't had a look lately to see if its any different.
Cheers

Thanks for that.
I saw some frequencies added on the ACMA database for the NSW SW corner about 3-4 months ago.
Obviously trying to get Uniform fully digital, then we know what comes next.
Channel Uniform can be heard in Sydney via the GRN, when somebody affiliates on 10019
