Was looking at this setup the other day... will have to give it a whirl over the next few weeks.

One thought occurred that it could be possible to monitor 2 control channels (2 different sites) and 2 talkgroups at the same time using 4 radios. A big step up from what my Uniden 396T presently is doing.

I have a cheap TV dongle running under SDRsharp and feeding Unitrunker to watch my local GRN site. Saves tying up a scanner just to listen to the control channel, works well and a lot cheaper than buying a dedicated scanner.

New version of Unitrunker has direct control of Tv tuner. There is no need to use SDRsharp and Unitrunker together.
The tuner must be RTL2832U 820T type usb dongle.
I have 4 of these going at the same time with my notebook and they work great. They come with a UHF antenna which is good for 416Mhz.
I have found that if you have a frequency of 417.4625, you tune the Tv tuner 225khz down, which makes it 417.4400.
Cheers
