Re: PSR-500
yeah their dead easy to set up on the P25GRN just go to a control channel and hit save. it will create a system and bingo your started. just note the object id of the system eg 0123 and just add your system frequencies to that. you can also name the system there. youll know your on the system one as it will have in the top corner TS-xxxx.
from that it will also save whats called a 'Wildcard' which is what the scanner will pick the talkgroups up on.the 'wildcard' will automatically pick up any talkgroup active on any control channel it can pick up. note there are 3 different settings there too scan strongest CC, scan all, and default is scan first available on the list . you can also input talkgroups and save them to a system too.
the old 4.1 system is harder youll need software for that as you have to put the bases and offsets into a system to make it work.
i have a win500 file of both systems set up. i have 2 of these 500's, great scanner when their set up.
hope this is of help
cheers

Re: PSR-500
if your referring to entering a talk group then enter under TGRP.
CONVentional if for normal PMR frequencies like police, RFS.
cheers mate
