UniQlo stores in CBD and Macquarie Centre are using Icom portables in the VHF band on simplex 152.8000, 153.1875, 153.7000 - digital buzz heard so assuming it will be iDAS/NXDN.

From what I have been told from a Icom tech is these stores are using IP100H IP radios over a Wifi system which interfaces back to a VE-PG3 radio over IP gateway interface. So staff with IP radios can talk to staff with VHF or UHF radios. So this could explain the digital buzz you heard.

Is anyone in Sydney able to monitor and track the Metwide / Shift VHF network with DSD+ (currently using DSD+ fastlane v2.39)??

In BNE it decodes the CC ok, but doesn't seem to track any calls. The exact same setup decodes and tracks two other TIII systems (Orion and QR) ok so I don't think it is my settings.

Perhaps a HYT specific thing?? I have sent raw CC decoded audio to the DSD+ developers to have a look at (haven't heard back as yet).

Similar behaviour in Sydney mate, i made note to someone the other day that the data was different to the TAIT and MOT systems.

Hi Cartman,

Have you identified any channel numbers relating to the Shift frequencies? I only have DSD+ (no scanner) to monitor and the control channel information decoded using DSD+ does not indicate channel numbers, making life rather hard to set it up to monitor as a TIII system!

UPDATED METWIDE SHIFT DMR TIER III FREQUENCIES

It would appear that Metwide's Shift DMR Tier III Trunking has recently commenced operations ... I have heard Hurstville and North Sydney voice channels active this week. Two more sites have appeared on the ACMA ... Vincentia and Kiama

Do any of the scanners (TRX-1 and Uniden etc) trunk-track DMR yet?

Uniden supposedly trunk tracks, trx just works off a scanlist

Would anyone be able to run the analyze function on their trx or uniden to try and work out a couple of the voice channel numbers?

I am thinking though this may not necessarily solve the problem with DSD+ and the shift network. For some reason it does not seem to pick up the goto channels from the control channel (the current release of 2.39) of the HYT TIII systems...

Hi BS,

Only just started monitoring Orion Max, I have followmont on TG 1750998 and 1750999 (998 seems to be the main TG).

I have also monitored what sounds like sand / gravel / dirt trucks on 1715099 and the system techs on 12003. No one else as yet though.

Sites 55 and 56 are also showing as neighbors of Mt Coot-tha, haven't worked out who they are though as yet.
