With the frequencies quoted on the ACMA website, I would doubt that it is a DMR system. Stranger things have happened of course, but I have my doubts.

Yeah i think it is Dmr too. Sounds like and behaves like Dmr.

I can hear three sites from here in Port Macquarie.
Jolly Nose, Mt Cairncross and Mt Yarrahapinni.

The Port Macquarie and Middle Brother sites are not active yet so the network must be still being constructed. No sites were active as at 27/6/14, when i last checked.

Might drive up next time so i can bring all my gear. Flew this time.

Ps A Google search suggests that Fettell comms is or is preparing to be a Dmr reseller of Tait and Hytera Dmr radios. If it was a nxdn setup it would be classed as dPMR. Strange that they use the wrong emission designator for Dmr.

I will be in Port Macquarie from Sunday for a couple of days, so i will run DSD+ and WinDSDv2 on these sites to confirm the DMR diagnosis.

Thanks re the whole six sites - missed the other four when I was doing a "latest" search. Not the first time Fettell Comms have done interesting things ... at one stage they had several MPT1327 systems running about 7-8 years ago.

Not much happening on the Fettell DMR systems last weekend. I was listening/logging Mt Cairncross on 465Mhz for a couple of minutes during a brief visit to Port Macquarie.

DSD+1.51 was deaf
WinDSDv2 didnt like it either
DMR v74 was the most useful but only logged some data

I have been up at my mothers again at Port Macquarie the week before Easter and managed to log at least 1 voice call on Fettells DMR net off Middle Brother using the Whistler TRX-1.

Fettell have now added 2 sites in and around Coffs Harbour - at Raleigh and Korora

464.696875 DMR - Fettells Comms - Mt Yarrahapinni
464.771875 DMR - Fettells Comms - Raleigh
464.771875 DMR - Fettells Comms - Middle Brother
464.921875 DMR - Fettells Comms - Jolly Nose Hill
465.571875 DMR - Fettells Comms - Korora, Coffs Harbour
465.571875 DMR - Fettells Comms - Kandabung
465.671875 DMR - Fettells Comms - Mt Cairncross
466.621875 DMR - Fettells Comms - Mt Cairncross (Added June 2018)
467.496875 DMR - Fettells Comms - Port Macquarie

489.22500 DMR for Surfcom SLSA booms in locally
Heard DPI chopper call up on Surfcom on Tuesday and talk to Surfcom about the Zone 3 shark patrol.
Garry says that this is a Robinson R44 contract chopper that flies along the mid north coast but it doesnt appear on flightradar24

Also noticed that Nestle Australia maybe running NXDN simplex voice on 462.525 at their Smithtown Plant NE of Kempsey.
Havent heard it yet from Port Macquarie yet.

Now back in Sydney
