Tasmanian Rail to implement DMR Tier III trunked VHF

MiMOMax has partnered with Tait to supply a radio network for Tasmanian Rail. MiMOMax provided Tait with 19 MiMOMax Link Radio Units to link 10 Tait base stations and 81 mobile units across 10 sites throughout Tasmania

As far as I can tell this is in the process of being implemented ... i have found copies of the media release that suggest it is about 10-14 days ago when the project was announced.

DMR Tier III is the same setup as the trunked UHF Orion network on the mainland ... TRBO.
