DMRDecode by Ian Wraith has been updated, and now at Build 55 as of a few hours ago (22/09/2012) for those interested.

Build 50 - Correctly display an 8 bit Site ID in Connect Plus SLCO 9 packets.

Build 51 - Display Privacy Header PDUs as raw binary

Build 52 - Fix a bug which meant that PI Header PDUs in embedded frames weren't being displayed

Build 53 - Allows the users settings to be saved in DMRDecode_settings.xml and reloaded on start up.

Build 54 - Adds a CPU utilization fix contributed by Chris Sams

Build 55 - Adds an option to not view voice frames and also replaces all instances of StringBuffer
with StringBuilder

Build 56 - Adds the date to the quick log.
Displays the data filters at the start of each log and shows any filter changes in the log file.

Build 58 - Add a link to the new download page. Also decode Rate ¾ Data Continuation PDUs as raw binary.
Build 59 - Display the Time Slot in Connect Plus Channel Grants (CSBKO 03 FID=6). This information was kindly
provided by W8EMX on the Radioreference forums.
Build 60 - Allows the user to select their audio source.

Build 61 - Now saves the selected audio source in the settings file

DMRDecode has been updated again by Ian Wraith, some good progress is being made. Build is up to #68 now and is available to download from

A group of us have actually been talking with Ian about getting some features added to DMR Decode, so I'll have to check out the latest build and see where we're at?

I can't thank Ian enough for the work he puts into this application, and the result is an excellent program!

Im sure he will add as many features as possible, the last few builds have certainly made some very good progress.

However, I still cannot seem to gather any information on the CARPS TRBO system at RNS @ St Leonards. Ive noted at least 5 frequencies being used and do not see any data being decoded via DMRDecode.

Is that a Capacity Plus system, I don't know that much about TRBO but from what I've read they are a PITA to monitor?

I don't believe so, (and i know its getting slightly off topic, ill create a new thread later) absolutely no data shows on the screen, when ever there is transmissions, not even a DMR Data Block shows up in DMR Decode, im guessing its a Proprietary setup, and is different to how the current TRBO hardware works. Im not sure but maybe if I enable 'Debug Mode' some binary data might show up, ill have to give it a try next time im nearby. If you have contact with Ian, maybe run it by him, could be possible we can help him out? Ill also try and take some sound/audio samples from the transmissions.
