my xp computer died and now have a less old win 7 desktop I am needing a usb Uniden 996/396 programing cable
I have tried to use the prolific usb to serial but cannot get the driver to install correctly, I did a buy a usb cable from Rustynswrail before I needing another one.

try the PL2303 Windows Driver for Vista/7/8 worked for mine as i brought it from Jaycar and it only had the xp drivers
