Included is a Uniden 100-240 volt AC to DC power supply. Will work in Australia without a hitch.

Rusty,

Still for sale ?

and a couple of quick questions, looking to use this in a survey application.

Does it report the RSSI value as the 996 does ?

What is the RSSI accuracy like, good range (-60 to -120dBm) , stable (will return consistent results) calibrating the scale is no problem.

Still need to catch up for that Coffee....

Col,

It has sold. As to the RSSI, it doesn't do what the 996 can do. I certainly would not rate the RSSI of any scanner, say for the Icom base or computer driven units and maybe some AOR's as accurate. Particularly between units of the same brand and model. It would be best described as a guide.
