ATM haven't been able to use my usb to serial cable to talk to windows 7 so I have been inputting updated freq and new GPS pois in manually

profific USB-Serial driver is what you need, ive never had it fail me and many that couldnt get their adapter to work had sucess with this driver.

Jaskel what windows 7 are you running 32 or 64bit I spend quite a few hours triing to get it to work.
