Whats the best Antenna

Looking to buy an external antenna for the 396 and pro96
What do you guys recommend and where could I get it
In a fairly poor reception area out here at Kellyville

What band would you listen to most will help you in your selection of which antenna you will need.

mainly into the emergency services especially RFS and NSWFB

That would be a good start,
or even one of the cheap mobile one scan antennas would help alot.

Even a cb antenna, outside, up high with good coax will give you a decent improvement.

Thanks guys will get one of those for the old ar2002
Wife said I could spend up to $300 to get one and have it installed ( she gets the *hit* with the crackly reception
;)
What would you recommend for this now Would a TV antenna installer be able to do the job??
