Air trafic Control via Satellite

i have a question about the output part.
The menus on my humax seem to be all preset for tv reception, any other services it seems to skip..it kind of only wants to see pay tv sites
is there a way to disable this and see other services. ive tried many times but run into dead ends. maybe its frequency selection to scan or something too
how do u connect up the scanner is that to an rf part that you havent mentioned?
