Everytime I go to Port Stephens ( which is a number of times a year as we have friends up that way) Its always an airshow! I usually get to stop and see the FA-18s doing touch and go training or other training activities, as well as a few other millitary aircraft. Best not to go there in the Christmas holidays because you won't see much ( plus its to crowded in that area anyway).
