Storm front (not the nrl storm) coming in from the west
'A vigorous cold front is expected to reach the far south coast Monday evening, Sydney Waters early Tuesday. Seal Rocks by the afternoon and Point Danger in the evening. Strengthening northwest winds ahead of the change are expected to become extremely gusty and reach gale force at times this afternoon." *from BOM.gov

=heap to scan for so bring in that washing off the line and pump up the scanner SES,NSWFB,RTA police ch X,etc

Wouldn't say so yet. The change is meant to hit Sydney in the early hours of the morning... 0300 to 0700 somewhere. Might only bring very strong/gale force winds with it though, seems to be lacking moisture.

Well not much happened, all a bit of over-hype if you ask me. We currently hav some rain across Sydney this morning, but I would not worry about your roof blowing off or your house floating away.

I think out western NSW have more to wory about, which huge dust storms and raining down of red mud.

I havn't seen a scene like that since the Canberra fires, you could see a brown haze over everything on the coast too. Nothing like that though
