I havn't had much time to listen to it the last couple of hours but i think they were going to drop arial incenduries to deepen the back burn lines. It sounds like there is still some edsge that hasn't been burnt but I could be wrong.
Just heard them say while I type this that they are conectrating on bucketing now not AI. Not sure if thats good or not.
Looking at Bombala weather the wind is starting to pick up a bit.

Just a bit of an update.The fire is now listed as conatined.
Backburns are going well and there is no major problems.
There are still several choppers water bombing hot spots but everything is looking good.

Hi all
There is currently a fire on Brown Mountain west of Bega. It started at about 3:30 this afternoon. Bemboka 2 and Cooma 7 are on scene with State Forests and possibly NPWS.
The highway is closed until at least 10PM. Haven't heard much, must be all on the Monaro RFS channels.
