NSWRFS LAT

Bomber 134 and Bomber 165 doing practice runs at Richmond today. They where using 130.550Mhz for comms between aircraft, same as last year.

They have a slot every Tuesday from 11am to do a "proficiency drop" on Rickarby's Field to the north of the base. They do these drops when the aircraft has not has a mission in the previous 7 days. Doesn't go for long but impressive to watch from the fence west of the fuel farm.

Yep, that’s where I took those pics, i’ve have been away for a couple of weeks but keen to catch the 737 doing a practice dump.
