Down on the far south coast they don't use the GRN as yet. THe RFS are on PMR and NPWS and SF use 78.xx MHz.
When the ACT crews were down they had a bit of activity on the ACT RFS talkgroup back to the ACT but non of the local services are using the GRN.

If you are into HF and into Police rxing Victoria Police are on HF USB / AM modes in the fire areas.
3K00J3E = USB so you subtract 1.5khz from the frequency ie 4.7815000 MHz 3K00J3E / USB you would rx on
4.7800MHz and for 6K00A3E / AM just use the frequency shown ie 10.5050000 MHz 6K00A3E rx 10.505mhz AM.
Radio gear is Codan / Barrett and they use Selcal ie a data burst of about 3 to 4 seconds. 73z Richard
