Re: Blue Mountains search
I'm told the guy was doing lines of cocaine and got cut off at the bar. After kicking over somebodies bins, how he gets lost in suburban type streets is a mystery. In my books, the guy is a douche. </2 cents>
Re: Blue Mountains search
also heard them on 468.625 pl 107.2 .... very scratchy from Moss Vale
Re: Blue Mountains search

Re: Blue Mountains search
I was told there was a post on here about a job I was involved in, so I joined:
The SES used mainly 468.625 on a portable repeater located on a hill in Leura. The GRN was basically useless in coverage for the area searched on portable radios.
Facebook as a photo of the comms trailer in situ

GRN was really used by crews coming/going into the area.
I find it interesting and wonder why people come up with stories of where and what happened with the victim.... bit annoying but taken with a grain of salt.
I have been involved in this stuff since 1981 and for this search appropriate resources where deployed and used. In fact the operation was more efficient than others I have attended to in the past.
