Was there any activity on the GRN re this escapee? Corrective Services used to have TG 7008 "Sierra" on the old analogue GRN which was used for searches of escapees.

Bugger, didn't think of that and wasn't paying much attention to the GRN as there was too much activity on the Police channel.
The Police were in contact with prison staff at Goulburn so I assume if someone was down this way they wouldn't have to as they would do it themselves.

Hi all,

Actually speaking of the old correctives 'Sierra' channel, ive not seen that pop up on Mt Gray since their conversion to digital. i used to see it all the time but not any more. only corrective's TG's i see are 10402, 10406 and 30402(which have very limited chatter). used to be good listening.

cheers

10411 gets used heaps these days, used for inmates working out in the community. mainly via mini busses.
