John - I think they've decommissioned all the sites - there is no coverage maps on the Motorola site and here in WA they've turned off the Central Park site and has been replaced by the Orion Network running MOTOTRBO

Thanks Frankc,
I have found no activity on GPT or Suncorp tower even though their data channels are still active.
Time to take down the 800mhz yagis!

Correct Cartman, just heard bridgeclimb yesterday. Might still be some activity from rentals.Haven't heard Foti fireworks setting up NYE celebrations.
Horsley Park is dead.
Just swung the 2nd yagi pointing at HP around to pointing towards the city at a offset angle to the other one to maximise reception from GPT & Suncorp towers.

You wont find anything on 800mhz, there is at least 16, maybe upto 32 talkgroups active right now on various DMR networks relating to tonights events.

Bridgeclimb are only using 800mhz trunking for radio checks, weather reports & locations with their base.
Running commentry with visitors seems to have gone to a simplex setup which is something they should have done in the first place!
Heard one of the crew leaders ask base how to program a visitors radio to a certain channel.
