Talkgroup 65536 on Motorola 800Mhz Sites in Sydney

One of the interesting things I have noted on some of the Motorola Type II 800Mhz sites is the regular appearance of Talkgroup 65536 on the Unitrunker and Trunk 88 logs
It doesn't appear to be a voice transmission but some sort of site marker
On AAP Bldg Sydney CBD it appears every 30mins at +28 and +58 past the hour
On Horsley Park it appears every 30mins at +18 and +48 past the hour
I have never seen it on GPT or Qantas or Airport Hilton or Fox.
Do any of the Motorola gurus know what it is ?

Saw on a post on radio reference forum that identifies what it is

"Talkgroup 65536 denotes the BSI or CW ID.
It isn't a real talkgroup.
That value was chosen because it would not conflict with valid group IDs. "

Are we talking about 800MHz or the old GRN?

I would think that the old GRN repeaters will mostly likely be upgraded with new SCMs and software then deployed to the P25 GRN.
