Me thinks it is this
World Firefighters Games 2012
Heard one of the events management staff mention the New York Fire Department
Obviously the RFS have loaned out some of their portables to the Event Organisers
There is a note that the games are only open to:
Full-time, Part-time, Volunteer, Rural Firefighters, Aviation,Military, Paramedics, State Emergency Services, St John's Ambulance plus administrative and trade staff and direct family members!!.

Hi all doing a custom search tonight with CC ONLY ON I have picked up the following Control Channels.Scanner showing them as LT System.
928.3250 LCN?
928.3375. LCN?
928.3625. LCN?
929.2500. LCN?
939.7500. LCN?
Was going to post a picture I took from scanner, not sure how to upload picture. I don't know how to work out LCN numbers anyone able to help/ explain how LCN works or have more info on this.. Picked this up from 2nd Floor of St George Hospital looking towards Botany Bay..

Looking at the ACMA database, it appears youve picked up some sort of link between Prince Henry Hopsital at Little Bay and St George Hospital (928.6625) ,The other one (928.3625) goes to Calvery Hospital down Rocky Pt Rd. The 939MHZ freq from looking appears to be a GSM cell, although nothing is listed under postcode 2217.
Cheers
Matt

So coming up on the scanner as a LTR SYSTEM is a false reading from the scanner as a control channel

GRANVILLE TAFE
487.5000 LCN01
489.2750 LCN02

0-01-123 Security
Both frequencies are still active LTR pulses 28/12/13 from my listening post at Liverpool
Unknown if still in use but presume so

Whats left in analogue LTR Systems?
Sydney Tower seems like the only one active with Airport minibus company & a Security company heard at night.
Horsley Park dropped to a 4 channel system & I think is now dead.
Are Dural & Hurstville still active?

John.

Patricks have gone, and now on their new digital system.
I think Hilton is still running, theres some users at the airport with the old Kenwood radios.

Sydney tower system 1 seems to only be pulsing on 1 channel now.
491.650 has the 10sec pulse.
Last user I heard on this was the airport shuttle service.

There are two frequencies still active on LTR. I can hear 490.4000 from Liverpool

490.4000 LCN1
490.6500 LCN4

Hurstville is gone now as well
