Its certainly not anything connected to GRN at the moment.

You won't be hearing any GRN on those frequencies anytime soon.

Hey Chrisco, if you get time while in Forster, would you be able to do a scan of the analogue VKG UHF channels. When I was last there, 468.575 (off Mt Cabbage Tree) seemed to be an air patch for Ch X. I heard a number of times the Westpac chopper call up, but heard no other transmissions. Since that time I see Ch 12 (468.125) has also been licenced to Mt Cabbage Tree. Interesed to see if they are running another x band channel on it, or just rely on ch 40 (468.825) off Middle Brother to cover the MGL area.

Thanks.

Found Cabbage tree Mt site it about 40Km(google earth) West-ish from where I am staying in Forster. 468.825 is imput channel from Port Macquarie. What do you want me to listen out for? Scan Ch 12 (468.125) to see if it's broadcasting X-Ray.

468.825 is on Middle Brother about 50km to SW of Port Macquarie and carries analogue "November" Police
You can't hear Port Macquarie itself because North Brother (Mountain) at Laurieton blocks it
However you can hear "Oscar" Police traffic via Coffs Harbour and Kempsey which make into Forster via the water path.
I was listening at the headland where that very steep sandhill runs down to the water

Sorry Chrisco, if you could check ch 12 (468.125) and 30 (468.575) to see if either of them carry ch X or the analogue November (the same as 468.825 off Middle Brother),

Thanks.
