Gregory Hills Site 001-076 now has (or will soon have) a companion site at Edmonson Park, sharing the same frequencies
https://web.acma.gov.au/rrl/site_search ... RT_DIR=asc
And a shared control channel frequency

And it's a 5 Watt site. Is this the first NSW GRN LSM site?cartman wrote:Gregory Hills Site 001-076 now has (or will soon have) a companion site at Edmonson Park, sharing the same frequencies

That spot is a black spot for Badgally - it will be interesting to see if it's properly LSM simulcasted or set up as a BDA/hidden host type site.

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (Notes)
Yesterday I was up in Dural and using a Uniden 996 I picked up a CC on 422.3875MHz with a Sys ID of 0A4Ah - site 102. It was a very weak signal. The SDS100 also picked it up but I wasn't quick enough to see what the NAC was. As I drove back towards Artarmon the signal disappeared around Carlingford. I was line of site with the Blue Mountains and beyond where I was receiving it best.Bigfella237 wrote: The following is a list of the SysID used for Australian Statewide P25 Systems:

BEE00-164 ... VICMMR / VICRMR
BEE00-3DC ... SAGRN (still being rolled out)
BEE00-351 ... NTESTN
BEE00-658 ... QLDGWN
ACMA only shows the frequency licensed at the new Kirrawee allocation in NSW and it definitely isn't coming from there as I receive Kirrawee 100% from home.

The control channel for Hassans Walls Lithgow is now 419.5500Mhz, NAC 2D0
Mount Victoria Control Channel 419.1250mhz RFSS 1 - Site ID 148 NAC 2D6
Mount Victoria Control Channel 419.1250mhz RFSS 1 - Site ID 148 NAC 2D6
Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (Notes)
Confirmed by good old fashioned RDF / fox hunting that this is a test site running in the workshop at the GRN NOCC.
Taking the antenna off my PSR500, I was getting the CC full strength while parked near the NOCC at Castle Hill. As I drove more than 200 meters away in any direction, the signal strength started to drop off rapidly, but was quickly restoring by re-attaching the antenna.
The different Sys ID of 0x0A4 makes sense - it's the best way to stop any live production radio from trying to affiliate by accident.

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
Just bringing to everybody's attention that the database on page 1 is slowly starting to get dated
There are numerous new sites that have appeared on the ACMA this year (eg Knights Hill, Mona Vale, Mount Druitt, New M5 tunnel multisites, Yanderra, Eastgardens and several existing sites that new allocations (eg Kirrawee (currently offline), Manly, Brookvale etc).
I noticed that Collaroy (Site 69) didnt have a frequency listed on DSD when I was looking at Belrose and maybe offline or replaced by Mona Vale.

Since Andrew is busy with other things, we have discussed it and matthewn1983 and myself will start updating the list over the next couple of weeks.
So yes, while it is out of date, please keep posting up submissions and we will add them shortly.

Yeah, apologies to everyone, I've been having some major health problems and I've been in & out of hospital with another extended visit on the immediate horizon unfortunately.
I'd love to get back into the list updates but just have too much other stuff to deal with at the moment so Matt et al have graciously agreed to help out.
