NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
I will be in the Port Macquarie area Wednesday to Saturday this week with DSD and Unitrunker and will most definitely go home via North brother lookout to see if anything else has popped up.

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
No new microwave sites today (Tuesday July 13th) but some wide area freqs were added to an existing one, so the following has been upgraded:
Unknown Site # - WALCHA ROAD (Telstra Site 23 Boyd Lane) - ACMA Site: 10012087
415.3500
418.6000*
418.8500*
419.1000*
Site Elevation (ASL): n/a Antenna: Parallel array of vertical dipoles-D Antenna Height (AGL): 44m TX Power: 80w ED: 10K1F9W
Frequencies marked with an asterisk (*) are licenced to the HSGA Client ID
Frequencies in RED are also on the CC List programmed into GRN radios

i will check my notes, i suspect someone forgot to change frequencies from another site.Bigfella237 wrote:BrisbaneScan wrote:

Upon further inspection of my logs i entered it incorrectly - 419.7250
Also showing a CC upgrade for Site 2.59 to 04-1128 - 419.5250
to many radios as 255 characters is not enough
Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
Yep, its dead quiet on the mid north coast apart from the odd RFS P25 transmission

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
Something weird is going on, twenty eight (28) ACMA sites have been deleted from the HSGA Client ID today... investigating now
Andrew
EDIT: I haven't been through all 28 sites but so far it looks like all the sites are in the North Coast CCEP.
Any wide area freqs licenced to the GRN client ID are still there, but no new licences have appeared to replace what's been deleted (yet anyway).
Those sites that had only HSGA freqs now have no wide area freqs licenced at all, so technically they should be moved back to "Microwave Relay" sites and be deleted from the Unknown Sites list, but I think I'll wait a couple of days and see what happens?
All the sites affected had the HSGA freqs added on either Thursday the 20th or Monday the 24th of June so maybe somebody just used the wrong Client ID at the time?

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
I'm glad I held off last night... all 28 of those sites deleted from the HSGA Client ID yesterday reappeared again today and with the original "Date Authorised", this may have been a problem with the ACMA database rather than the TELCO?
No activity again today with the GRN Client ID.

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
In Unitrunker the Castle Hill site always has TG 65536 listed on the CC channel.citabria wrote:Castle Hill site 001-075 has recently had some phase 2 LCNs added as well
Not sure what this means for the site, but that TG is listed as:
Talkgroup 65535 is a System Wide "All Call" Talkgroup. All other talkgroups unmute to a Talkgroup 65535 transmission. And a talkgroup set to 65535 unmutes to any and all talkgroup IDs.
And from this site (http://www.dvsinc.com/papers/p25_training_guide.pdf):
...reserved as a talk group which includes everyone.
Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
Thats simply because the destination for the traffic on the control channel is all radios. It’s actually a bit of an annoying bug that Unitrunker has on some sites.

Chullora Site 107 has it as well
